Sweet Molly-Doodle,
No other dog has been such a sweet companion to our human kids as you. You were there when they were sick, when they came home from the Adoption agency, and every moment you possibly could. You were always patient and forgiving, and even picked up some piano skills along the way.
You are forever missed, love Mom.
Mazzie
Our sweet Westie Boy. You are forever in our hearts. Sadly our yard is now overrun with squirrels – no one chased them away as well as you.
Apollo
Apollo and I found each other when I was a sophomore in college. I always longed for a corgi puppy but knew the responsible choice would be to wait until after graduation. On the day I pulled up to the farm where he lived to “just meet him”, he came running around the farmhouse with a pack of 7 other, much larger, dogs yet was doing his best to keep up with their long legs. He was a sweet and rambunctious boy and when I opened the passenger side of my car to grab my phone and take a picture he jumped right inside. I took this as a sign that he was mine and I was now his- I happily paid the woman who was rehoming him and we were on our way home and I had to remind myself that this wasn’t a dream and I really did have a dog of my own. Apollo was my best boy through graduation, nursing licensing exam, moving into my first apartment, first nursing job, becoming a wife and a mama to humans and buying a home. He travelled across the country with me and was willing to go on most any adventure I could think up. I firmly believe God gives us pets as a tangible example of his grace-filled love for us; Apollo loved me well on even my worst days. Towards the end of Apollo’s days on earth I dreamt that the Lord asked me to give him back. I anxiously await the day I see him again in Heaven and know that the reunion will fill a Baby-Meow sized hole that’s been left.
Bella
My Bella. My soul dog.
16 years with you was not enough. How blessed we were to share a love that made saying goodbye so hard. I will miss you for the rest of my life.
Until we meet again, rest in Heaven with Gypsy, my precious baby.
